Today’s guest is Alexa Federico, a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, AutoImmune Paleo Coach, author, blogger, Crohn’s Warrior since 2007.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, she helps people learn how to utilize food in support of their health and not against it. Many of her clients have gut issues, including Crohn’s and Colitis, and she helps teach how food plays a role in both healing and disease.
In this episode, we talk about everything from food and fitness to surgery and journaling. Alexa shares her tips for flares, how she manages stress, and what she does to keep a positive mindset.

Hi Everyone! In this episode, I wanted to share my own Crohn's story and give you a chance to get to know me a little more. I've been interviewing other Crohn's Warriors and asking them to share their stories and experiences, so I also wanted to share my own so that you knew a little more about what inspired me to start this podcast and how Crohn's has shaped my own life.
In this episode, I ask myself the same questions I ask my other interviewees and share my thoughts and experiences on food, flares, fitness, supplements, stress, and why it's important to follow your passions. I hope my experience–and the experiences of others on this podcast–will help you in your own Crohn's or Colitis journey and give you inspiration, hope, and a sense of community.
